He served in HMCS York for Training 1952-1958. He served in HMCS Swansea for Sea Training. He served in HMCS Beacon Hill for Sea Training. He served in HMCS Magnificent for Sea Training. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R). He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/05/1953). In 1953 he served in HMCS York. (He was released.)
