Biography
In 1946-1948 he attended Memorial University (pre-Med). In the fall of 1948, he moved to Halifax to attend Dalhousie. After completing his science degree, he worked for a year as chemist with Newfoundland Margarine in St. John's, before completing his medical degree. He served as a family physician in Annapolis Royal for 36 years.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1950. He served in HMCS Cabot for UNTD 1950-1951. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 10/05/1951). (He was released.)
