Biography
After his naval service he studied medicine at Dalhousie University and took up a family practice at Kentville NS.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Officer Cadet (SSA) RCN 1965. He served in Royal Roads Military College 1965. He served in the Royal Military College of Canada 1967. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN 1967. He served in CFB Borden for Basic Flying Training 1969. He served in CFB Moose Jaw for Flying Training 1970. He served in CFB Gimli for Flying Training 1970. He served in CFB Winnipeg for Flying Training 1971. He served in CFB Shearwater for VS-880 Squadron 1971. (He was released 01/06/1974). (Transferred to Air Reserve). He served in CFB Shearwater for 420 (Air Reserve) Squadron 1975-76. (He was released.)
