Biography
After his naval service he worked with a manufacturer of fluid power equipment as a sales representative and later in management.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an AC 2/c (Pilot Candidate) RCAF (With seniority dated 01/12/1943). RCAF Toronto for Manning Pool 1943. He served in RCAF Toronto for #1 Initial Training School 1944. He served in RCAF Windsor for #7 Elementary Flying Training School 1944. He served in RCAF Uplands for Service Flying Training 1944. He was Awarded Wings 01/09/1944. (CFR). Piolot Officer RCAF 01/09/1944, Released 1944, (Transferred to RNVR 1944). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (A) RNVR 1945. He served in H.M.S. Seaborn for Training 1945. He served in H.M.S. Macaw for Training 1945, RAF Ternhill for Flying Refresher 1945. He served in RNAS Hinstock for Instrument Flying Training 1945. He served in RNAS Burscough for 825 RN Squadron 1945, Demobilized.
