Biography
He returned to Toronto, graduating from U of T with a BA in Mathematics & Physics, in the spring of 1949. After his naval service he was a Physics Teacher from Crestwood Secondary School, Peterborough ON.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman (Officer Candidate UNTD) 1943. He aerved in HMCS York for UNTD 1943. (CFR). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 07/1945). He served in HMCS Springhill 1945. (Transferred to RCN). He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (L) RCN 1947. In 1947 he served in HMCS Stadacona. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (L) RCN (With seniority dated 01/06/1948). In 1953 he served in HMCS Quebec. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (L) RCN (With seniority dated 01/06/1956). He served in HMCS Shelburne on the Staff of Flag Officer Atlantic Coast 1956. (He was released 1969.)
