He graduated with a BA UofT spring 1950. He was qualified as a lawyer.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman (Officer Candidate UNTD) RCN(R) 1946. He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1948. In 1948 he served in HMCS York for UNTD. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (S) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 21/08/1950). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (S) RCN(R). He served in HMCS York for VC-920 Reserve Squadron 1954. (He was released.)
