Biography
After his naval service he was Executive Director of Canadian Red Cross at Windsor Branch. Retired in 1985. Joined PEM-Air Ltd. as flying school manager. Moved to part-time employment as Administrator for Sisters of St. Joseph in Pembroke ON.

He was appointed as a Flight Cadet RCAF (With seniority dated 12/09/1952). He served in RCAF Crumlin 1952. He served in RCAF Centralia for Pilot Training 1952. He was appointed as a Pilot Officer RCAF 1953. He served in RCAF Portage La Prairie for Advanced Flying Training 1953. RCAF MacDonald for Pilot Gunnery School 1953. (He was Awarded Wings 01/09/1953.) He was appointed as a Flying Officer RCAF (With seniority dated 01/09/1953). He served in RCAF Trenton for School of Instructional Technique and Flying Instructors School 1954. He served in RCAF Moose Jaw for #2 Flying Training School 1954. He served in RCAF Trenton for Flying Instructor School 1956. (Transferred to RCN). (Short Service Appointment 01/01/1959). He served in USS Wasp for Carrier Qualifications 1966. (Selected for permanent commission). He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN (With seniority dated 01/07/1967). He served in HMCS Saguenay for Seaking Detachment 1967. He served in NDHQ for Directorate of Equipment Requirements Maritime Air 1968. He served in CFB Portage La Prairie for Rotary Wing Standards Squadron 1971. He served in CFB Halifax for Maritime Command Operations Center 1974. He served in HMCS Hunter as Staff Officer Administration and Training 1974. (He was retired 1980.)
