Biography
After his naval service he owned a farm at Ste. Croix NB 1962-68. He owned and operated a concrete block manufacturing plant in Windsor NS 1966-68. He attended University of Western Ontario 1969-71 and Althouse College of Education (London ON) for Diploma in Education 1971-72. He taught Math & Computer Science & Accounting in South Huron District High School Exeter ON 1972-81. He worked with Richardson Securities 1981-82. In 1983 to present (1998) he was a sales representative with a fund-raising company.
 
Military Service
(Short Service Appointment 04/06/1952). He was appointed as a Midshipman (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 03/06/1952). He served in HMCS Tecumseh 1952. He served in HMCS Cornwallis for #3 Junior Air Officer Training Course 1952. He served in HMCS Quebec for Sea Training 1952. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/06/1953). He served in RCAF Centralia for Flying Training 1953. He served in HMCS Shearwater for Avenger Conversion 1954. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/06/1953). He served in RNAS Culdrose for Firefly I Check-out 1954. He served in H.M.S. Gannet for RNAS Eglinton for Advanced Flying Training and Bombing/Gunnery Course 1954. He served in H.M.S. Illustrious for Deck Landing Qualification 1954. He served in RCAF Summerside/HMCS Magnificent for VS-880 Squadron 1955. He served in HMCS Shearwater for VS-881 Squadron 1955. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 16/01/1956). He served in HMCS Shearwater as Additional For Air Traffic Control Duties (Tower and Approach Control) 1956, (Three Year Short service Extension 1959). He served in HMCS Shearwater/ HMCS Bonaventure for VS-880 Squadron 1959. (He was retired 03/03/1962.)
