Military Service
He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCNVR (With seniority dated 10/12/1938). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCNVR 1939. He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCNVR (With seniority dated 10/12/1940) (Later backdated to 1939). He served in HMCS Kenora (In command) 1943. In 1944 he sered in HMCS Niobe. (He was demobilized.) (He was qualified with a Watchkeeping Certificate.)
