Biography
After his naval service he was Operations Manager of Halifax International Airport for 12 years. (He retired in 1988.)

He was appointed as a Sergent Pilot RCAF 1944. (CFR). He was appointed as a Pilot Officer RCAF (With seniority dated 01/04/1944). He served in RCAF Peirce for Flying Instructor Course. He served in RCAF Windsor for EFTS as Flying Instructor. He was appointed as a Flying Officer RCAF (With seniority dated 01/10/1944). (He was was released.) (Transferred to RNVR). He served in the Royal Naval Staff College Greenwich 1966. He served in CFB Shearwater for VU-32 Squadron as Commanding Officer 1967. He served in CFB Shearwater as Base Operations Officer 1971-76. (He was retired on 12/03/1976.)
