He joined the CEF in Winnipeg MB 01/06/1916 as a Private. He went overseas 31/10/1916. He served in the 184th Battalion and then the Canadian Postal Corps. He was struck off strength and transferred to the RNAS 03/12/1917. He was appointed as a Probationary Flight Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNAS (With seniority dated 04/12/1917). He served in RNAS Greenwich. He served in RNAS Vendome (#205 Training Depot Station) 25/02/1918. He served in RNAS Calshot under instruction. He served in the SE Area for #4 Group 03/06/1918. He served in HMS Nairana 03/07/1918. He served in the Base Depot, North Russia 1919. He served in the Dvina Wing North Russia 18/06/1919. He served in HMS Pegasus. |
