Military Service

He was appointed as a Probationary Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR 1944. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (P) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 21/06/1944). He served in USNAS Brunswick ME for 1848 RN Squadron as Pilot 1944. He served in H.M.S. Ranee for 1848 RN Squadron 1944. He served in H.M.S. Colossus for 1846 RN Squadron 1944. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 21/06/1945). (He was demobilized). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 21/06/1945). He served in HMCS Donnacona 1947. He served in HMCS York 1954. (He was released.) (He was qualified with a Watchkeeping Certificate.)
