His next-of-kin, was his mother, Mrs. Maggie McLean, 14 Lurebort Locks, Stornoway, Scotland.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as a Leading Seaman (RNCVR). He served in HMCS Galiano 1918. (He was lost in HMCS Galiano in a storm off Vancouver Island BC October 30, 1918).
