His home was in Eugenia, Ontario at the time of his recruitment (civil engineer; he attended the University of Toronto, 1907-1912). He attended the Curtiss Flying School, Toronto, and granted Royal Aero Club Certificate No.2058, on 8 November 1915. On July 20, 1917 he led an attack on three German 2-seater aircraft and shot one down. After the squadron reformed he was missing. |

He served in #3 (Naval) Wing 14/08/1916. He was appointed as a Flight Commander (Temp.) RNAS. He served in #11 (Naval) Squadron 7/03/1917. He served in #6 (Naval) Squadron 07/05/1917 - 30/07/1917. (He was killed in action). |
