He was the brother of Captain Simon F, Mackenzie. came to the BC coast in 1899. (He was qualified as a Master Mariner (Passenger Coastal) #3667)). He was the Master of the GTP steamship Prince Albert. He was appointed as a British Columbia Marine Pilot. He and his brother owned MacKenzie Bros. Steamship Co. and later sold out to Grand Trunk Pacific in 1910. |
