Military Service

He was appointed as an Officer Cadet (COTC McGill University) (Transferred to RCNVR 03/04/1944) He was appointed as a Electrical Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 02/09/1944 later backdated to 01/05/1944). In 1944 he served in HMCS Ste. Hyacinthe (RCN Signal School). In 1944 he served in HMCS Avalon. He was appointed as an Electrical Sub-Lieutenant (Radar) RCNVR (With seniority dated 10/03/1945). (He was demobilized 06/12/1945.)
