Biography
His home was in Edmonton AB at the time of his recruitment.
 
Military Service
He joined the Canadian Field Artillery 1914. He was appointed as a Gunner (CFA) 06/1915. He sailed to France 01/1916. He was wounded 05/10/1916. (Transferred to the RNAS 1917). He was appointed as a Probationary Flight Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNAS (With seniority dated 01/03/1917). He served in RNAS Crystal Palace 07/03/1917. He was appointed as a Flight Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNAS. He served in RNAS Eastchurch 07/04/1917. He served in RAF Cranwell 11/06/1917. He served in RNAS Freiston 12/06/1917. He served in RNAS Dover 21/07/1917. He served in #12 (Naval) Squadron 09/08/1917. He served in #10 (Naval) Squadron 12/08/1917. He was hospitalized in France 05/04/1918. He was wounded in France 08/05/1918. He rejoined #210 (RAF) Squadron.

Anecdotes
He had 13 victories in World War One including 9 destroyed. He was killed in action on 10/06/1918 when he collided with Lt. F.C. Dodd and crashed behind enemy lines. He was buried at Y Farm Military Cemetery, Bois-Grenier, Nord, France.
