Biography
After his naval service he moved to the US for his subsequent academic and professional career. He earned a PhD degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY. He worked at the Oak Ridge National Lab in the USA. He retired as a research chemist at Union Carbide's South Charleston Tech Center after 32 years of employment.

He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 02/01/1951). He served in HMCS Queen for UNTD 1950-1954.
