Military Service
He was appointed as a Lieutenant (O) RN. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (O) RN. (He served on Loan to the RCN from the RN). He served in HMCS Magnificent as Direction Officer 1948. (He was released.) (He was qualified as an observer for naval aviation and as a Direction Officer.)
