He is the twin brother of Holmes Matheson.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1954. In 1954-1957 he served in HMCS Scotian for UNTD (Mt. Allison). He was appointed as a Surgeon Major (MED) (CF). (Transferred to MOTP) (He was released.)
