Anecdotes
Bill Clearihue reports that "In his 2nd summer at RR, which was 1950, was the first time that Royal Roads & UNTD trained together and he might well have received his U-number that summer, prior to joining the UNTD at DONNACONA in the Fall of '50. An interesting anomaly - a UNTD who already had his U-number before joining!" In the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics, he served as an official for the jumping event.
