Military Service
He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman (Officer Candidate UNTD) RCNVR 1943. In 1943 he served in HMCS York for UNTD. (CFR) He was appointed as an Electrical Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 01/05/1944). In 1944 he served with the Royal Navy. (He was demobilized.)
