Biography
After his naval service he joined Air Canada. Qualified as Captain. Retired 1984.

(Short Service Appointment). He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1959). He served in HMCS Venture (Officer Training Establishment) 1959. He served in RCAF Centralia for Flight Training. He served in RCAF Penhold for Flight Training. He served in RCAF Saskatoon for Flight Training 1962. He was Awarded Wings 1962. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1962). He served in HMCS Shearwater for VU-32 Squadron for CS2F Conversion Course 1962. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1962). He served in HMCS Shearwater and HMCS Bonaventure for VS-880 Squadron as Operational Pilot 1965. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/01/1966). (He was released 01/06/1966.)
