Military Service

He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RNCVR (With seniority dated 12/09/1914). He was appointed as a Lieutenant RNCVR (With seniority dated 12/12/1914). He served in HMCS Tuna (In command) 1916. He served in HMCS Shearwater I 1916. He served in HMCS Guelph 1917 (In-charge of Chart and Chronometer Depot) 1917. In 1917 he served in HMCS Niobe as Addional for HMC Dockyard Halifax In Charge of Chart and Chronometer Depot. (He was demobilized.)
