Biography
(He was qualified as a Master Mariner). In 1882 he was reported as a Marine pilot in the Nanaimo Pilotage district. In 1889/1890 he was appointed as a Marine Pilot in the Nanaimo District. He was dismissed for drunkeness and neglect of duty.
