Biography
He was a graduate of the Thomas Aviation School at Ithaca NY 1915. After his military service he was Director of Sales and Advertising Manager for Dominion Oilcloth and Linoleum Co. Ltd. between the wars

 

Military Service

He was appointed as a Probationary Flight Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNAS. He was appointed as a Flight Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNAS. He served in RNAS Felixstowe 1916. He served in H.M.S. Vindex (Aircraft Carrier) 1916. (Transferred to RCAF). He was appointed as a Squadron Leader RCAF (Auxiliary). He served as Commanding Officer RCAF 15th Auxiliary Squadron. He was appointed as a Wing Commander RCAF (Auxiliary). (Mobilized for World War Two service). He was appointed as a Group Captain RCAF (Auxiliary). He was appointed as a Air Commodore RCAF. He was appointed as a Air Vice Marshall RCAF 1943. He served as Commanding Officer No. 1 Training Command 1943. (He was released.)
