Biography
His home was in Lanark, Ontario where he worked as a school teacher at the time of his recruitment.

 

Military Service

He was appointed as a Probationary Flight Sub-Lieutenant RNAS (With seniority dated 19 April 1917) at Ottawa ON. He served in RNAS Manstone Flying School 21/05/1917. He served in RAF Cranwell 09/08/1917. He served in RNAS Freiston 12/09/1917; to War Flight, Manstone, 29/09/1917. He served in RNAS Manstone 28/10/1917. He served in Slough Compass Observatory 28/10/1917. He served in Manstone 12/11/1917. He served in RNAS Dunkirkm 14/01/1918. He served in #14 (N) Squadron (later #214 Squadron, RAF) 16/01/1918 - 19/021919. (He was demobilized.)
