Military Service
He was appointed as a Lieutenant (C.O.T.C.). He served at the University of British Columbia. (Transferred to RCNVR 03/1943). He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (SB) (University Naval Training Division) RCNVR (With seniority dated 14/06/1943). He served in HMCS Discovery as Commanding Officer UNTD (UBC) 1943-1945. (He was demobilized.)
