Biography
He is the brother of Commander Fraser McKee. He was attending Upper Canada College at the time of his recruitment into the navy.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet RCN 1949. He served in the Royal Roads (RCNC) 1949. He served in Royal Roads Military College (HMCS Malahat) under UNTD Plan 1949-1951. He was appointed as a Midshipman RCN (With seniority dated 11/09/1950). He served in HMCS Ontario for sea training. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN. He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 26/11/1953). He served in HMCS Lauzon. He served in NHQ For Special Duty as Naval Aide-de-Camp to His Excellency the Governor General 1956. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN (With seniority dated 26/11/1961).
