Military Service

He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (P) RAN. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) RAN. (He served in the RCN 11/05/1966). He served in HMCS Shearwater for VS-880 Squadron. (He was returned to the RAN for service). He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (P) RAN (With seniority dated 01/02/1965). He served in #816 Squadron (RAN) as Senior Pilot 1968. He was appointed as a Commander (P) RAN (With seniority dated 31/12/1969). He served in HMAS Cresswell 1971. He was appointed as a Captain (P) RAN. (He was retired.)
