In his civilian career he was a Barrister & Solicitor.

 

Military Service

In 1975 he was appointed as an Officer Cadet (NR). In 1975-1977 he served in HMCS Nonsuch for ROUTP. In 1976 he served in the ROUTP for NROC (Esquimalt) for Training. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (NR). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (NR). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (NR). He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (NR). He served in HMCS Glace Bay (II) (In command) 1996-1997. He was appointed as a Commander (NR) c1999. He was appointed as a Captain (N) (NR) (RCN). He served as the Commanding Officer of HMCS Nonsuch in 1997-2000. (He was released.)
