Biography
His home was in Westmount QC and he was a student at McGill University at the time of his recruitment. His father had retired as a CPR Vice-President. He attended the Wright Flying School in Augusta, Georgia. He was awarded ACA Flying Certificate 398 dated 26/01/1916.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Probationary Flight Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNAS (With seniority dated 12/02/1916) in Ottawa ON. On 03/05/1916, he served in the first planned flying course at RNAS Windermere. He served in RNAS Dundee 1916. He served in H.M.S. Pegasus (Seaplane Carrier) 1917. He served in RNAS Talbot 27/03/1916. He was appointed as a Flight Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNAS (With seniority dated 30/06/1917). He was appointed as a Flight Lieutenant RNAS (With seniority dated 30/06/1917). He served in RNAS Calshot 10/07/1916. He served in RNAS Dundee 11/09/1916. He served in HMS Pegasus 14/08/1917. He served in RNAS Isle of Grain 01/10/1917. He served in RNAS Felixstowe 07/11/1917He served in SW Area (RNAS Calshot) 14/08/1918. He served in #210 TDS 07/11/1918. (He was demobilized.)
