(Transferred to RCNVR) He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman (Officer Candidate UNTD) RCNVR 1943. (CFR) He was appointed as a Probationary Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR 1944. He served in HMCS Cornwallis on Executive Officers' Course 1944. (He was demobilized.)
