(He was qualified as a Master Mariner (Foreign Going) #4892). (He was qualified as a Marine Pilot 15/12/1947 in the Fraser river Pilotage District). (He was retired 31/12/1969).

 

Military Service
He was appointed as a Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNR (With seniority dated 20/11/1940) (Later backdated to 1941). He served in HMCS Chignecto (In command) 1941 and 1943. He served in HMCS Quinte (In command) 1946. (He was demobilized.)
