Biography
He was living in Gormley ON at the time of his recruitment into the navy. In 1957 he graduated from the University of Toronto in Engineering. H ewas a Principal in D.A. McWhirter & Associates Inc. (a corporation which specializes in corporate mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures.)

 

Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1953. He served in HMCS York for UNTD 1953. He served in HMCS Quebec for Sea Training 1955. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (L) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/07/1956). (He was released.)
