Military Service
(Short Service Appointment). He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1963). He served in HMCS Venture (Officer Training Establishment) for Training 1963. He served in RCAF Centralia for Primary Flight Training 1964. He served in RCAF Rivers for Flight Training 1964. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1964). RCAF Portage La Prairie for Flight Training 1964. He was Awarded Wings 01/10/1964. He served in HMCS Shearwater for VU-32 Squadron for OTU 1965. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 03/07/1965). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (SSA) RCN 1967. He served in HMCS Shearwater and HMCS Bonaventure for VS-880 Squadron. He served in HMCS Shearwater for Operations Department 1968, CFB Portage La Prairie for Helicopter Conversion 1971. After retirement from the military, he worked as a Real Estate Agent, and as a Commissionaire at the Halifax Airport. He also devoted many years to volunteering at the Shearwater Aviation Museum and was instrumental in starting the Greenwood Aviation Museum.
