He was appointed as a AC 2/c RCAF 1942. He served in RCAF Toronto for ITS 1942. He served in RCAF St. Catharines for Elementary Flying Training School 1943. He served in RCAF Hagersville for Service Flying Training School 1943. He was Awarded Wings 1943. (CFR). He was appointed as a Pilot Officer RCAF 1943. He served in RCAF Trenton as Flying Instructor 1943. He served in RCAF Deseronto for Instrument Flying Course 1944. He served in RCAF Brandon for #12 Service Flying Training School 194, Released 1945, (Transferred to RNVR 1945). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR 1945. He served in H.M.S. Macxaw 1945. He served in RNAS Yeovilton 1945, He lost an arm after surviving a crash as RNAS Zeals. Released 1945. |
