Military Service
He was appointed as a Pilot for Training in the RCAF. He was Awarded Wings. (Transferred to RCN). He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (L) RCN (With seniority dated 31/12/1948). He served in HMCS Stadacona for Training at Electrical School 1949. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (L) RCN (With seniority dated 31/12/1948). He was appointed as an A/Lieutenant (L) RCN (With seniority dated 01/12/1949). He served in HMCS Niobe for Service With RN for Air Radio and Air Electrical Courses 1949. He served in HMCS Shearwater as Additional 1950. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (L) RCN (With seniority dated 01/12/1949). He served in HMCS Stadacona for Electrical Courses 1950. He served in HMCS Shearwater for 31st Support Air Group 1951. (He died in a flying accident 13/06/1952 while upgrading his flying qualifications.)
