Biography
In 1952 he was a Rhodes Scholar for Saskatchewan.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1948. He served in HMCS Unicorn for UNTD 1948-1951. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 06/02/1951). In 1951-1952 he served in HMCS Unicorn as Divisional Officer. He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 06/02/1953). In 1953 he served in HMCS Chippewa. (He was released.)
