After his naval service he joined Fairey Aviation Co. of Canada Ltd. As Chief Test Pilot 1955. He resigned and joined Flying Fireman Ltd. At Victoria International Airport in 1967. He survived the bailout from a burning Avenger at Shearwater in 1954. He was killed in a flying accident while waterbombing in a Canso waterbomber 16/07/1967 on Mount Finlayson as co-pilot of a PBY-5A Canso Water Bomber. |
