Biography
After his naval service he attended university for BCom, then joined Richardson Securities as stockbroker in Montréal, Toronto and Tokyo. He joined Brink Hudson & Lefever as stockboker in institutional sales in 1980. (He was a member of the National Sailing Team 1971. He won the North American Flying Dutchman Championship in 1974.)

(Short Service Appointment). He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 04/09/1956). He served in HMCS Venture (Officer Training Establishment) for Training 1956. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/05/1959). He served in USNAS Pensacola FL for Flight Training. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/05/1959). He served in HMCS Shearwater/ HMCS Bonaventure for VS-880 Squadron. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1962). He served in HMCS Bonaventure as Flight Deck Officer 1963. (Transferred to RCN(R)). He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/09/1962). He served in HMCS Donnacona as Executive Officer UNTD 1963. (He was released.)
