Military Service

(Short Service Appointment 20/05/1948). He was appointed as a Midshipman (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 20/05/1948). He served in NHQ 1948. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 20/05/1950). He served with the Royal Navy for training 1950. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 20/05/1950). He served in HMCS Shearwater 1950. He served in HMCS Shearwater for 19th Support Air Group in 803 Squadron 1951. (He died in a flying accident 27/03/1951.)
