He served in the Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps before his recruitment into the navy. He designed a line of semi-trailers at Brantford Coach and Body. In 1961, he became a professional engineer (mechanical). After a long career as an engineer in the HVAC field, he was hired to teach mechanical engineering subjects at Humber College, where he created the Refrigeration Air Conditioning (Sales) Program. Upon retirement, he began a consulting career which resulted in him becoming owner and president of Madok Manufacturing in Brantford. |
