Biography |

He grew up in Economy, Colchester Co., NS, attending Bass River High School. He attended Acadia University, enrolled in senior matriculation from 1961-1962, beginning a BSc in 1962, transferring to a BA in 1964, graduating with a BA in History and English in 1966, and graduating with a Bed in 1967. He obtained a PhD from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria. Morrison is a professor at Saint Mary’s University in the History department; he is a former Dean of Arts and Coordinator of the Asian Studies program at Saint Mary’s University. In 2009, Morrison was awarded the Order of Canada. |
