She married Lieutenant-Colonel Claude Moss 24/12/1903 in Bloemfontain Orange River Colony. She came to Canada in 1909 and later organized the Cowichan Branch of the Canadian Red Cross Society in 1914. In 1915 she travelled with her husband, Claude Moss, an army Colonel, to the UK where she managed the Soldier's Home Whitchurch Salop. After the war she returned to Vancouver Island (Cowichan Station) as President of the Cowichan Health Centre 1920-35. She was a founding Director of the Queen Alexandra Solarium and an Honorary Member of the Cowichan Branch of the Canadian Legion. After her husband's death she returned to Scotland where she died. |

She enrolled in the WRNS in February 1918 and trained at the Crystal Palace Naval Depot in 1917. She was appointed as an Assistant Commandant (WRNS) 1918. She served as Principal of the Women's Royal Naval Service at Portsmouth Division 02/1918. (She transferred to the WRAF). She served in the WRAF as Assistant Commandant WRAF on the Staff of the Major General Commanding South-East (London) Area 1918. (She was released 1919c.) |
