Biography
He grew up in Northern Alberta on a mink farm. After leaving the navy he drove taxi cabs in Montreal and worked at engineering firms until he was hired by Air Canada in 1966. He retired as a Training Captain on the Airbus A340.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 02/01/1958). He served in HMCS Nonsuch for UNTD 1957-1958. (Transferred to RCN) He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1958). He was appointed as a an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1960). He was appointed as a a Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1960). (He was awarded wings.) He served in HMCS Bonaventure for helicopters. (He was released.)
