Biography
After his naval service he was a bush helicopter pilot 1969-1971. He worked with the Ontario Government as Fire Bomber Pilot 1971. He worked for Airtransit (STOL) 1973-6. He worked for Transport Canada as Civil Aviation Inspector 1976-1999.

He served in HMCS Bonaventure for HS-50 Squadron as Crew Commander 1968. He served in HMCS St. Laurent as Helicopter Crew Commander. (He resigned 01/05/1969.) (He was retired 01/06/1969.) (He was the winner of the Junior Cadet Sports Trophy at HMCS Venture. (He was qualified as a pilot for naval aviation.)
