Biography
He was a graduate of Dalhousie University. In 1984 he received designation as a Professional Administrator by the Canadian Institute of Management. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in Canada. He is a Public Representative, Nova Scotia barristers’ Society. He is the Corporate Secretary, Investment Dealers Association of Canada. In 2001 to the present (2012). He was operating a consulting business providing corporate secretarial and governance consulting services in Halifax NS.

He was appointed as an Officer Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/09/1965). He served in HMCS Scotian for UNTD 1965-1966. He served in HMCS Cornwallis for Training 1965.
