Biography
He was a graduate of Dalhousie University. In 1984 he received designation as a Professional Administrator by the Canadian Institute of Management. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in Canada. He is a Public Representative, Nova Scotia barristers’ Society. He is the Corporate Secretary, Investment Dealers Association of Canada. In 2001 to the present (2012). He was operating a consulting business providing corporate secretarial and governance consulting services in Halifax NS.

Biography

He served in HMCS Malahat for Training 1966. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 11/05/1968). He served in CFB Borden for Supply Course 1968. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 11/05/1969). (Transferred to CF 1970). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (MARS) 1970. He served in HMCS Assiniboine 1970. He served in HMCS St. Laurent. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (MARS) (With seniority dated 15/05/1973). He served in HMCS Fraser. He served in HMCS Athabaskan 1975.
