He was appointed as a Wireless Operator (4th Class) RNCVR (With seniority dated 01/03/1916). He was appointed as a Wireless Operator (3rd Class) (RNCVR) 1917. In 1917 he served in HMCS Galiano as Wireless Operator. (He was lost in HMCS Galiano in a storm off Vancouver Island BC October 30, 1918). |
