He came to Canada in 1958.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (ROTP) RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1962). He served in the Royal Military College of Canada 1962. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/05/1966). He served in RCAF Centralia for Flying Training 1966. He served in RCAF Portage La Prairie for Flying Training. He was Awarded Wings 01/05/1967. He served in HMCS Shearwater for VU-32 Squadron 1967. He served in HMCS Shearwater and HMCS Bonaventure for VS-880 Squadron 1967.
